BIOGRAPHY OF IRFAN KHAN

Irfan Khan (Irrfan Khan) was born as Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan was an Indian actor who worked in Bollywood and Hollywood. He worked in Hindi, British and American cinema. According to the fans and media, he was the finest actor of the Indian film industry, and he proved this with his work and performance. He was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018. He has died aged 53.

EARLY LIFE AND CAREER:

Irfan Khan was born on the 7th of January 1967 in a Muslim Pathan Family at Rajasthan. His mother name was Saeeda Begum, and she was from Jodhpur. His father name was Yaseen Ali Khan, and He was from Khajuriya Village, which was in the Tonk district of Rajasthan. Irrfan Khan was also a good cricketer. Once, He was selected in CK Nayudu Trophy as Under 23 Player. This tournament was considered a step at that time to enter in First Class Cricket of India. Irrfan could not play this tournament because of his financial circumstances; he could not afford travel expenses.

In those days, he showed interest in acting as one of his uncles was working in a theater at Jodhpur. He performed in several theater programs. He did his Masters of Arts in Jaipur, and then to study acting, he joined the National School of Drama (NDS) in 1984.

When he shifted to Mumbai, In his early days there, he started working as an Air Conditioner Repair Mechanic. He told that during that work once He went to the house of his childhood inspiration Rajesh Khana to repair the Air Conditioner of his home. He said that I could never forget that day when I met Rajesh Khana. It was a dream which came true, Irfan said.

Immediately after graduating from NSD in 1987, Later, Khan was offered a minor role in My Nair’s Salaam Bombay. His scenes did not reach the end. He played Lenin on a far-sighted red teleclass with a shovel through a blue horse, based on a translation of Mikhail Shatrov’s Russian play Ade Prakash. He was later described as the main opponent of the series in Psycho Killer. He played the role of Makhdoom Mohi-ud-Din, a well-known Indian revolutionary, Urdu poet and Marxist political activist, in Kahkashan, produced by Ali Sardar Jafri. Irrfan also starred in a rare episode of Star Best Sellers (aired on Star Plus). Khan was also seen in two episodes of the SET India Bhanwar series. He starred in many television series during the 1990s, including Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Sara Jahan Hamara, Benegi Apni Baat, Chandrakant, Shri Kant, Ano Gonj, Door Darshan, Star Best Sellers (Star Plus), Sparsh And The Great Maratha. He co-starred with Rupa Ganguly in the critically acclaimed drama Basu Chatterjee’s Kamo Ki Moot (1989). In the 1990s, he appeared in critically acclaimed films such as A Doctor’s Mouth (1990) and a similar long journey (1998), as well as various other films that went unnoticed. In 1998, he played Valmiki in the Jai Hanuman series starring Sanjay Khan. He also directed an episode of the 2001 horror television series Sshhhh. Koi Hai entitled “` From Reel to Real. “

PERSONAL LIFE:

Irfan Khan married to Sutapa Sikdar. She was a writer by profession and was also a graduate of NSD. The couple had two children. Irfan changed his name from Irfan Khan to Irrfan Khan because he liked the sound of extra “r” in his name. He also later changed his name to only Irrfan because he wanted that his work should define him, not his name Khan or family lineage.  

ILLNESS AND DEATH:

It was diagnosed that Irfan Khan has a neuroendocrine tumor; he revealed this via a tweet in March, 2018. He got treatment in the UK, and after getting well, he returned to Mumbai in February, 2019.

His mother, Saeeda Begum, died on the 25th of April, 2020, at the age of 93 in Jaipur.

On the 28th of April, Irfan Khan (Irrfan Khan) was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for the treatment of Colon Infection. He died on the very next day at the age of 53. His Co-Actor in D-Day Rishi Kapoor also died on the next day.
